Even seeing new languages start out with relatively modest or complex builtin capabilities means that more of our time is spent developing their tools or developing built-in applications. One indicator of what’s changing is the community response to C# apps. The overall community of developers said we should do a better job creating frameworks focused on data storage. We did here a couple of years ago. I don’t take time out or be particularly vocal at what I see as the status quo here (it would be disingenuous to say many are doing that and our efforts are welcome).

I think that’s a good time think about how I see Windows 8 as a new entry of a new age opportunity which is built on the promise of future innovations.
